Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the EduMaster school management system ("the System"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the System.

2. Description of Service

EduMaster is a comprehensive school management platform that provides tools for academic management, financial administration, communication, reporting, and school operations. The System is provided by Waesta Enterprises U Ltd and is licensed for use by Blessed Sacrament Primary School.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must not share your account credentials with any other person.
• You must immediately notify the system administrator if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accounts are assigned based on your role within the school and carry specific access permissions.
• The school administration reserves the right to deactivate accounts at any time.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the System, you agree to:

• Use the System only for its intended educational and administrative purposes.
• Provide accurate and truthful information when entering data.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of student, parent, and staff data.
• Not attempt to access data or features beyond your authorized role.
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures, including authentication and access controls.
• Not use the System to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws.

5. Data Accuracy

Users who enter data into the System are responsible for ensuring its accuracy. This includes but is not limited to student records, financial transactions, academic marks, and attendance records. Inaccurate data entry may result in incorrect reports, financial discrepancies, or academic record errors.

6. Intellectual Property

The System, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Waesta Enterprises U Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the System for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the System.

7. Financial Transactions

The System facilitates fee collection and financial record-keeping. Users acknowledge that:

• All payment records entered into the System should be backed by valid receipts.
• Mobile money and other electronic payment integrations are subject to the terms of the respective payment providers.
• The System provides financial reports based on entered data and is not liable for discrepancies caused by incorrect data entry.

8. System Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the System. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and unforeseen technical issues may result in temporary downtime. We will endeavor to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waesta Enterprises U Ltd and Blessed Sacrament Primary School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the System, including but not limited to data loss, financial losses, or academic record discrepancies.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the System at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the System ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the System after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the System's announcement feature.
